There are three different versions of Absinthe available, one for Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux with Mono and Mac OS X with Mono.
Windows Version
The Windows version requires the .Net runtime to be installed on your computer. If you don't already have this installed, you can get it from Windows Update.
The windows version can be run straight from the uncompressed folder.
Linux Version
The Linux version requires the Mono runtime and a custom version of wx.NET to operate. The tarball includes a pre-compiled version of the custom wx.NET libraries.
If you don't already have these installed, you can download mono from: http://www.mono-project.com/
and wx.NET is available from: http://wxnet.sf.net/
The custom patch is available here
The linux version must be installed by using the install.sh script provided in the package.
Mac OS X Version
The Mac OS X version requires the Mono runtime. (This may possibly work with GNU Portable.NET, if anyone verifies this, please notify us through our bugzilla.
To run, simply execute Absinthe.app.
